Here is ours at a 15" bar sink. It's insta-cold with chiller, but same thing as insta-hot with heater as far as fit and clearance go, so it will give you the same idea.

I don't think there's any particular issues to worry about as far as sink shape and faucet type as long as you pick a single hole faucet. Good luck and have fun with your new kitchen!
