Creativity rules!

I cam across this article in Houzz. It is really inspiring what one can do with a few cans of paint, as the author notes. I really LOVE these kitchens.

Here is a link that might be useful: houzz link

I think what they are recommending is easier said than done.

If you remove the doors, wouldn't you have to finish the shelf front? And wouldn't that make the rest of it look old?

Just curious.

IMHO, mismatching properly is the hardest thing to do unless you are an artist (not necessarily by trade).

If done improperly, it would look sloppy, not charming.

Some of those kitchens looked like perfect candidates for "Before" on this forum's reveals. LOL.

Maybe, I am just grouchy as I did not get enough sleep last night. Wink.

RE: Creativity rules!

Thanks for posting the link! Those kitchens have so much personality - it's great to see so many different "styles", price points, and sizes. I really enjoy seeing the kitchens on this site, and it's wonderful that everyone loves their own kitchen, but so many of them seem to be just variations on a theme, to me. It's good to see something different occasionally.
