Drawer instead of a sink tilt out?

Did anyone do a small drawer instead of a sink tilt out?

As I have 30in depth counters, I have quite a bit of space in front of the my prep sink. I am hoping to put in a drawer there instead of a sink tilt out. Are there short drawer slides out I can use to do this?

You won't have more than about 4" if your sink is positioned correctly. Any more room than that is too far for optimum use of the sink.

It also depends on what size cabinet and sink. We have a 36" cabinet, with three pull outs under it. Two tilt outs on the right, where sink is, and to the left, our inset composter. This was far enough back to add a shallow 12" drawer, which has its right rails mounted to the left of the sink.
