| Hello - I posted this in lighting but figured posting heer would help also. I'm ordering the Piper pendant (see attached) for my over-the-island lighting.
The pendant comes compatible with either xenon/halogen lights or LED lights. I'm so confused about which one to go with - I've heard the xenon/halogen choice will make the granite counter look better and is a warmer and dimmable light but that it can get hot! The LED clearly has the opposite issues and is less expensive. Which would you choose (and I'm not sure if it matters, but the island will be my work space and I'm 5'11 so if the xenon/halogen gets too hot, it might be uncomfortable to have them right above me). Thanks! |

| Well, we have halogen over the island and the same pendants with LED elsewhere (over the bar area). I don't find them bothersome at all, but I'm only 5'4" (on a good day . . .) |
