Interesting slab. It does look a lot like this image of Paradiso Classico:

And has some resemblance to "multicolor red granite."

Thanks GoneSouth. I was just at the granite yard and one guy said maybe called Flamingo. The paradiso they had was similar but more purplish swirls then the rust red. Thanks for the link I will check it out.

Thanks beagles, I saw the Van Gogh at the granite place today and it is gorgeous. It was more bright gold/orange swirls on blue and teal.

Thanks joy. Yeah we scored on this one. It is 4'x7' with ogee edge on all four sides. It is perfect because it looks like a volcano erupting lava and we live on the Big Island. Unfortunately Kilauea's lava is heading towards the small town of Pahoa near Hilo right now.

Now I found this picture and I think it is really close. Called none other then Lava Jewel! Well I may never know for sure, but I like that name anyways. :-)

It looks a lot like the granite my brother has which is called Red Vyara, but may be called Vyara Exotica.

Thanks Anna. I looked up the Red Vyara and boy is it close! Oh well whatever it is I have, now I need to pick out a coordinating perimeter countertop and backsplash.
