| For those that have a light colored backsplash, have you had problems with it staining?
I love the look of mpagmom's but am concerned about the area behind the cooktop. I cook a lot and I have children that like to help and will eventually be cooking. Think tomato based sauce slopped on the wall by someone. I know if I do it I'll wipe it quickly but others may not notice it. ;-) I am hoping to have stainless steel counters in the cooktop area. Would it look terrible to have a stainless backsplash the width of the cooktop all the way up to the hood and then the pretty tile backsplash on either side? |

Here's mine:  Stainless 24" back guard with shelf from Blue Star. We had a sheet of ss cut for us to put the rest of the way up to the hood. and from further away |
