marble remnants in Baltimore area?

Can anyone point me to some likely sources of Calacatta marble or Carrera marble remnants in the Baltimore area? I need only a few small bits to make some shelves from....5"-7" wide and about 24" long. I'm just hoping to avoid having to drive to every single stone fabricator within a 25 mile radius!

Try Craigslist ... you can find scraps there.

And call slab dealers and fabricators and ask if they sell scraps. Many of them have a "boneyard" full of the leftovers, slabs that broke coming off the truck and other rejects. They are usually good stone, just wasn't used in the project.

Housewerks has salvaged pieces of marble. Most are old, vintage so I don't know if they would match your look or not. But they have lots. Give a call before going and ask about their stock. They are located near the ballpark. (I have been there twice all the way from Philly.)
