Colonial Cream granite sample piece

I don't think I'd do Colonial Cream granite. It doesn't seem cabin-y. Maybe soapstone or a leathered Virginia Mist granite.

here is the backsplash. The backsplash does have texture. We were only going to put it on the wall with the stove. It is a slide in stove and appliances are stainless the sink is undermount Blanco Silgranite in the black.

thank you for your help. I will look at Virginia mist I really love soapstone but know we can not have it. I am afraid you are right about the Colonial Cream not being for a cabin and that I just like it because it is pretty.

I am afraid CC might be too busy with the pattern of the cabinets and also in the splash. Too much going on. Virginia mist is the ticket. You could do it honed, leathered etc. Good luck!

Given the light backsplash, definitely vote for a more solid dark counter like virginia mist!

If you cannot do soapstone, Virginia Mist is a good alternative.
