Most cabinet shops that finish will have a paint booth. But most aren't going to want to paint items that they didn't create. Most painters don't have a paint booth, and aren't used to mixing and spraying conversion varnish, but you might get lucky with a furniture refinishing company or other specialist.

Thanks. I'll check out furniture refinishers. I'm pretty sure most of the local cabinet shops would refuse the job.

The people who painted my cabinets actually specialize in faux "artistic" painting of furniture and cabinetry, so that's what they advertise, but they also do plain painting. You may just have to call around to various places to find out what they're willing to do.

I had my cabinets painted by a local company recommended by my KD. I got new doors, drawer fronts and end panels which they did in their shop. My existing boxes were done in situ. They turned my little kitchen into a paint booth. I'm very pleased with the results. The paint has held up very well, getting on for three years.

I had my Ikea orsa birch doors and panels painted by a furniture refinisher. He has a shop and sprayed them with an acrylic finish.
