Hi: I felt the same way when I went to see it but was going to go with it anyway because I love it more than any of the other marble-alternatives that I've seen. BUT, when I get an estimate, it turns out that the Caerstone slabs only come in 2cm thicknessers and are 54" x 120" so you get much less out of each slab which caused me to need a 3rd slab. And, I wanted a 2" island so the mitering on the edge to get that look was almost as expensive as the slabs themselves!! So frustrated b/c I finally thought I had a great alternative to Calacatta. Any other options, please share!!!

What did you decide to go with, Nadianyc? I am trying to decide between the Tranquility and Calacatta Nuvo. Do you have any pictures of your finished product?

Check out Quartz Masters Calcutta Grey. That's what we went with and it is stunning!! Looks like marble. Will post pics when I get a moment.
