Who knows without more info? Pictures? Details?

I thought about having my existing cabinets refaced. A guy was sent out by HD and it was not a favorable meeting. He talked and talked and finally I asked for a quote and he threw out something ridiculous.

I ended up buying new doors, drawer fronts, end panels and crown molding and having it all painted professionally, both on site and in the painter's shop. My golden oak cabinets were transformed. The painters were pricy, and still it was about half of what the refacer quoted.
