dishwasher door

We are just a few days from cabinet install. Our layout made us think we should have a cabinet panel for the dishwasher, instead of the stainless I had previously purchased to replace the black. Has anyone put a wooden door on their dishwasher? If so, how do they do it? Remove the old and glue the new? Should we just go with the stainless as this is too problem prone?

Is the dishwasher you bought "panel ready"? The door has to be made according to a template provided and they get screwed on. I don't know if there are dw models where stainless and wood panel doors are interchangeable.

A panel ready dishwasher is required. On a Bosch, the door affixes via screws and some metal tabs that hook into the face of the DW panel. There is also some velcro involved, but that is temp solution to hold the door in place while you screw in the main screws.
