Induction ranges - Kenmore ELite?

Hi everyone. We are looking, at Kenmore elite appliances because of price, good reviews on Consumer reports, especially for Dishwashers.
We are thinking of going with induction because we hate our electric coil top and gas is not available here, Any thoughts on Kenmore induction stove?
Also, what would be advantage/disadvantage of freestanding versus slide in?

I have no info on KE inductions (but I did like my KE gas freestanding range when I had it in my last kitchen), but I love my Miele induction cooktop. So yay to induction.

As for the freestanding vs. slide in: for me, it's mainly the back part. I would want a slide in, so that there's nothing stick up in the back to block my nice backsplash.
