Up in Smoke Beveled Arabesque

Posted by kdline (My Page) on

I want to use this tile for my kitchen backsplash, but I have one whole wall that only has about 3 inches between the window sill and the granite...any suggestions on what to do for that wall? I could go higher with it on each side of my 90 inch window, but for that long stretch I'm not sure what to do.

Do you have a picture or can you give us the size of the tile? Sometimes it is possible to remove the sill altogether and use a small piece of trim, like a quarter round, for transitioning into the tile. This gives a little more room for the tile to extend. Alternately, You can use the countertop material to fill the between the sill & countertop. This works better IMO if the tile and countertop are similar in color.
