| Has anyone used a White Gray Laminate like
Wilsonart�s White Carrara laminate I would love to see pictures. |

| I haven't seen this installed but I have seen samples, as well as completed countertops of laminate that is made to look like natural stone. My advice? Don't do it. I'm all for laminate, in fact we are using it in our kitchen upgrade. BUT one of our rules for our remodel is "Thou shalt use no material that imitates another material." There is something disingenuous, and dare I say, cheesy, about faking a material. So if you are going with laminate, then dive into some of the really fun colors and textures that only laminate can do. Like microdots! No stone can do microdots! Sorry if this is a buzzkill, and it's just my opinion having very recently pondered our own laminate countertops. |
