We are doing a kitchen reno at our cabin. Working on a small budget is a must. We tried to purchase items on sale and managed to find some rather nice maple cabinets from Craigslist. We want the kitchen to look nice and pulled together so it has been work but fun as well . The structural stuff is mostly done and we are ready to paint. I've been looking at counter top ideas and came across a product that called Encore. It is a thin coat of concrete that is used over an existing counter. Has anybody used it? The sample it the store looked really quite nice. I'm wondering how durable it is and about the up keep.
