need help with backsplash ideas

We are in the middle of a kitchen remodel, we have everything done except the backsplash. I cant decided on which one to go with and I am pretty much lost. Our counter tops are Lapidus granite on black cabinets. I had one picked out but after the counter tops came in they look so amazing I feel as though the backsplash I had picked out would take away from them. Please help I dont know where to start.

How about a tile that is a light color pulled from your counter? Beautiful, by the way.

Hi There - I can't really see your bs tiles very clearly. You seem to have bs and an upper layer of orange tiles - or is that paint or wallpaper around the windows and doors? Do you want the orange? Also, what kind of budget do you have?

With your floors (they look like Saltillo terra cotta), cabinets, and granite, I would opt for a more neutral background like the palette below. Your granite is shown with a Taupe glass tile mosaic, your floor tile, and BM paint in Limestone.

You obviously love color, and you can still enjoy it with a more subtle touch, as in the next palette. Your stone is shown below with burnt orange glass tile mosaic, your floor tiles, and BM paint in Mohave Desert.

Both tiles are available at Glass Tile Oasis at the links below
