If you are skilled with a grinder, you can cut the tile and carefully break out the material you don't want; the difficulty will be that you can't take the cut all the way to the back wall because of the shape of the grinding disk...unless you cut into the wall a bit. Alternatively, you could have the bottom edge of the additional cabinet trimmed the thickness of the tile installation and have it sit on top of the tile and be the same height as the other cabinets. This would possibly be easier for an installer to do than cut the tile.

Multi-tool. Not grinder.

Kud's idea is what I was going to suggest, trim the bottom of cabinet. This would only be 1/4" at the most. Otherwise, I would take out and reinstall around the cabinet. A cleaner option to fit and isn't any bigger job than cutting existing tile.

Holly...my son would use a grinder with a diamond blade. I would use the multi tool. Far easier for me to handle, but really goes through blades for tile.

If none of the cabinets are installed yet, hopefully, raise them all up to the floor height with ply or shims. Cabinets should be placed at finished floor height to avoid problems with appliances.

KISS principal.

As suggested, Install on top of the floor, shim to level.

Shim or level the floor rather than risk having a mess with your tile or the cabinet box with rough edges. Keep it simple.

Remember that Murphy is alive and well and lives in the kitchen reno corallary -- if something can go wrong and doing so would cause major expense or delay that could have been avoided, it probably will.

Regarding tool choice, I might use a multitool for softer, ceramic tile, but a grinder with a masonry blade is my tool of choice for porcelain.

But I still lean toward cutting the cabinet and not the tile.
