Kohler Karbon vs Waterstone Gantry Faucet

I was all set to get a Kohler Karbon faucet for my new kitchen but was finally able to try one out at a fixture store. It was very stiff and difficult to move into different positions. Has anyone had difficulty repositioning theirs? I then found the Waterstone Gantry type faucet. I like that the hose does not dangle under the sink. Are there other faucets out there that have the freedom of movement around the sink, but do not have a hose dangling under the sink?

I have two Karbons (one in cleanup sink and one on prep sink) and have been using them for about a year. I absolutely love them. I don't find them difficult at all to move into different positions. I really think they help avoid the deep sink, high faucet splash. HTH

I have a Karbon and it is not stiff. It is perfect. It moves but is not sloppy. I love it.

My Kohler was stiff only for the first few days, perhaps a week. I've been using it for over two years, it is perfect.
