Thought this was interesting information.

The article didn't say anything about costs. Seems like new alternatives are so often expensive.

I think I don't want any stainless steel, but I love that tile countertop, the Fenix and wood. I doubt the Fenix is anywhere near my budget, but so is granite and I'm honestly getting tired of that look.

Not a moment too soon - I'm not a fan of granite. While tempered glass might make me nervous (i own a lot of vintage cast iron), I think that Fenix looks beautiful. Thanks aloha!
