Are your pendants blinding?

Hi everyone...I have it in my head that I need pendants with diffusers to avoid the glare from island pendants. I guess it's because our old kitchen chandelier always made me feel like I had to confess something like in those old crime movies- when you sat down the bulb shined right in my eyes.

I am in love with these pendants in aokat's kitchen (well I confess I love her whole kitchen) and I think they have diffusers. They are a bit more than I wanted to spend and I've found some like hers but without diffusers.

Do your island pendants have diffusers at the bottom to stem the glare? If not, does the glare bother you?

Since you accidentally posted twice, let's let this one sink wihtout more replies. Your other thread has some comments.

P.S. Don't worry about the double post. It happens. :)
