I don't believe "levels" are standard everywhere. Just in my area a granite may be in the budget bin on one place and much higher priced at another. Most places I went to didn't even have "levels". Each granite was priced separately.

If you could maybe list the choices you have, that would help better.

I think taking a cabinet door down to the vendor and asking to see level one granites would provide a great way to see granites that we are not familiar with and ones that would work with your cabinets. I fell in love with St. Cecilia Rio before I knew what color my cabinets would be, but I think it would look great with just about any color. I was super pleased to learn it was a level one granite and this is the first time in my life my taste had led me to choose a reasonably priced item. Have fun choosing a piece of the earth for your home.

If you do a bit of reading on this forum, you will see that your statement is not true.

We have giallo ornamentale with our cream cabinets. Here it is a level 1 granite.
