Old Style Curb-side Knife Sharpening

I thought a few of you might enjoy these pictures.

I heard the tell-tale clanging of the bells and started running down the streets with my butcher's knives in hand. Luckily I realised quite quickly that I should probably not run wildly through the neighbourhood with knives in hand like some sort of crazed house wife. I caught up with Carlo on my bike and he happily came back to my house to sharpen my dull knives. I just love that this still happens!

I wish we had him here. It's hard to find anywhere hedge clippers or saw blades.

We have a neighborhood knife sharpener too. But Tony rides a bicycle with his equipment towed behind.
