Near-Black Cabinets, glossy or matte?

Trying to choose between two finishes. Door on the left has a more glossy finish. One on the right is more of a matte finish. Which would you go with?

matte. much easier on the eyes

i wouldn't want the glare of gloss cabs.

I would go for the matte based on looks, but more important to me would be the finish that is best at hiding fingerprints and smudges. I would think that would be the matte as well, but I am not sure. I love the color!

Matte gets my vote.

Interesting. In real life my wife likes the glossy and I'm leaning toward matte. The cabinet company says the glossier finish will gradually fade to a matte-like finish over time. Now, pictures can be deceiving. They are not really "glossy". More like a satin finish. And they both look much closer to black than brown in real life.
