Kitchen sink quesrtion

On my "sink wall" of base cabinets, I'm really tight on horizontal space, and am trying to get a Krause KB-24 sink into a 31 or 32" base cabinet. The width of the sink (flange edge to flange edge is 32". This will involve installing the sink after the cabinet is in - but before the countertop is in place, with the flange resting on the cabinet's slightly recessed top edge. Once the countertop is down, if I ever had to replace the sink, the countertop would also have to be removed.

Is this a really bad idea, or am I over-thinking this?
