How do painted cabinets -- perhaps a medium cobalt blue or a pale French blue -- hold up as compared to standard wooden cabinets? I'm curious about whether they show dirt, are easy to clean, or would show "nicks and bumps" from daily life.

I'm talking about new cabinets, factory finished, not re-doing what I already have.
