Dark faucet and dark sink?

I need to replace my kitchen sink and faucet. I have a Silgranit sink in my basement and really like it so am thinking of putting one in the kitchen as well. I was thinking of a black sink (the one I'm taking out is a white Kohler) as my quartz countertops are a beige with small black and white flecks. If I do a black sink I was wondering what color faucet others have done. Either chrome or oil rubbed bronze or black? Here's a pic of the sink that I'm getting rid of.

The dishwasher is now stainless and I'm going to paint the cabinets soon and think I will replace the knobs to black.

I have a Swanstone granite sink in black and an oil rubbed bronze faucet.

Just a personal preference, but I have never seen a black faucet that I liked, despite its design or pedigree. When I first got my high arc faucet in brushed stainless, I was horrified how prominent it seemed in my small kitchen. Actually, it's still prominent, but I'm over it and the stainless doesn't scream for attention. If it were black, I'd be very unhappy. I don't think faucets need to match the color of the sink.

The spec home we purchased had black granite, black double basin sink and black pullout faucet. It was different than anything I'd ever had and I thought I'd like it. But talk about spot city. Constantly wiping everything. Replaced with lighter granite, Blanco sink and SS pulldown faucet. And the angels sang!

Thanks so much everyone for the pics and input. I think I will go with the dark sink. Mine will have to be drop in so I'm not sure how a chrome or nickel faucet will look on the dark rim.
Also, I see there is also a brand called Kraus that makes a composite sink, anyone have experience with those?
