kitchen layout help

Hello. This is my first time posting, although I have read enough to know you all give great feedback on layouts.

This is a remodel of an existing space. A couple of points:

- we are adding a corner pantry because we have limited storage in the house. This will also help save on cabinet costs.
- windows and door placements need to stay as they are because it is cost prohibitive to move them.
- The desk feature is something we will use a lot. I need to supervise homework, so being able to work in the kitchen and supervise will be helpful.

Thank you in advance.

how do you see yourself using the raised bar/peninsula? Is there seating there? I see it creating a pinch point and not a whole lot of function. Is there planned seating there? Other seating in the kitchen?

more info would be hepful about this floor of the home generally. I'd do it differently I think.

Thank you for the replies. There will be seating at the raised bar, used primarily for the kids to eat quick meals there.

Over the weekend, I started thinking about the space more and will post some ideas I have for an alternative layout. Hopefully this will provide enough information for feedback.
