My husband is getting ready to install a stainless steel shelf under the heat lamps on our Vent a Hood. How far below the lamps should the shelf be installed? Couldn't find instructions regarding this in manual. Thanks!

I have the Vent a Hood with the heating lamps and drop down heating shelves. The heat lamps are 12 inches above the shelves. BTW , I love that feature!

Thanks weimom- that is soooo helpful. I'm glad that you are happy with the set upand I can't wait to try it. Do you like your Vent A Hood?

We have just finished our remodel so I haven't done a lot of cooking but so far, the Vent a Hood has been great. I chose this particular one (with the drop down warming shelves) because a good friend (who is a caterer) has had the same one for over 5 years and has been very happy with it. Good enough for me!
