Recs for 48" chimney stack hoods

We ended up going with a 48" Wolf with griddle. The appliance store said we could use a 48" hood and didn't need to go to 52" Unfortunately, some of the recs we got when we thought we would have a 36" won't scale to 48". We really liked the Zypher Anzio. However, it only goes up to 600 CFM. We were thinking we needed 1K cfm.

We looked at the Best K424855 but it seems a bit clunkier. We like the Imperial but DH would prefer slightly less modern and more transitional like the Anzio. We decided on internal blower

Thanks so much!

Anyone with suggestions? Just to clarify, I mean 48" wide.

We have a 48" Wolf with griddle and went with a 54" hood. We ended up getting the Thermador one b/c we got a great deal on it from an appliance outlet.

So, I'm no help...

Kobe hoods give a lot of bang for the buck. You want baffle filters, and I agree 600 cfms is not enough since you have a griddle. There's also the Wolf hoods if you want to spend more.

Make sure your exhaust duct is big enough. It should be 8" or 10" diameter depending on the hood you choose.
