TapMaster - how does it work with hot/cold?

Posted by TexasPenny (My Page) on

I know that people with Tapmasters really love them. But, how do you control the water temp or flow? What if you want cold water or hot water? Or, a gentle stream vs full on? I don't understand how that part works if it's bypassing the faucet handles. Thanks!

You still control the flow rate and temperature with your faucet as you normally would. The tapmaster is for off/on only. So if you don't move your faucet handle(s) it will come back on again with the same flow rate and temperature as you left it before you turned it off. Then, once it is on you can change it to your preference if you need to with your faucet handle(s) as you normally would.

Hi Penny. I just posted this older thread for another member asking about Tapmasters. Towards the end of the thread someone else asks about the same question as yours.

Here is a link that might be useful: Oldish Tapmaster thread
