| Hi so we found some pictures on the internet where people have hidden walk in pantry doors that look like cabinets.
http://www.decorpad.com/photo.htm?photoId=94077&relatedPhotoId=94076&i ndex=0 So we have designed something similiar to match our cabinets we are just lost on ideas for hinge and a latch if need be. Do they make insiwng hinges that could be soft close? Or does anyone have any ideas on a hinge that would work? Or a latch that pulls and snaps tight. Kind of a weird install but thought you all would be up for the challenge! Thanks! |

| It looks to me that the face frame on that cabinet covers the hinges so when it's closed, you can't tell it's a door. It just looks like the lower cabinets are inset like the other cabinets in the kitchen. I do wonder how they pull the door closed. You could always contact Farinelli Construction and ask them. |

| Is there a reason you want it to be inswing? I 'd make it swing out, myself. |

| I can't tell what's really going on there, but is it possible it's more like a restaurant door that would swing back on it's own? I agree with Angie, make it outswing. You're most likely carrying stuff out of the pantry, much easier to push with your hands full than it is to pull on a handle. |

| Perhaps a pivot hinge (Harmon hinge) would work. I've included a link to an online supplier (no affiliation). |
