So, I'm interested in sinks this week and have been looking at the fancy-fancies that y'all have been discussing: The Galley, The Indio, etc.

But today I went to Ikea, and I saw a sink that I really liked. I didn't measure it, but I'd guess it was 30-34" across, rather deep -- almost a square, and apron-front. It was porcelain (I think) and had built-in ridges across the back side for soap or sponges. It was quite a nice sink . . . especially since it was $318.

Has anyone had one of these sinks? I did like the looks.

However, I also walked through the bathroom area, and I don't know why anyone would want one of those tiny sinks! They're so shallow! One thing I miss about my old house is that it had deep bathroom sinks -- in my current house, water splashes up at us.
