Really nice! Those colors look great and the tile is really pretty. I'm really loving your kitchen with those gorgeous wood cabinets. Just beautiful!

Musicgal, love your tile! Also so glad to see pewter inserts. I put some in a bath remodel a few years back and still love them. Glad to see they haven't completely disappeared. Considering them again. Really a nice kitchen with personality, esp the floor! What is it. Looks like it's laid on a diagonal. Very nice

Than you Christina, Poohpup, Mags and Greenhaven-
The medallions tied in all the corner herringbone border, and were a nod to our trip to Italy. They are called "Pompeii" in pewter. My pulls are distressed pewter too, so we have a little visual continuity.
The floor is tile, and the herringbone pattern you see is done from the front door to the back as you walk by the peninsulas. The herringbone in the honed marble picks up the pattern.

Thank you Bellsmom- it feels big to me compared to what we are in now in the rental. Can hardly wait to cook in it.

Peninsula view with sink and raised dishwasher- the carpenter is coming back to address the toe kick gap with a new drawer front. They don't do many of those around here. Pic is a little fuzzy but you get the idea.

That backsplash is mesmerizing, love the close-up with your pot filler, also the warmth of your cabinets and the floor.

Now just how tall ARE those ceilings? Thanks for posting update pictures!!

Looks awesome! I love how the basketweave is on an angle for the trim work. Everything else looks really good too! You must be pleased.
