We have been stuck in ABB mode for over a year thanks to having a new baby and vacations after a long home addition. So we were finally excited to get everything going. Selected the tile and are fortunate enough to get quotes from 3 good tilesetters in our area. So everything's great right?!

Uh no. We really like the Ann Sacks Jute Ecru glass subway tile (2x6). It's got a great dimpled texture with a color that would go well with our kitchen/countertop. The problem is that the crazy shipping charges to get 35sq ft shipped to our area since they have to send it from Portland. It basically takes the tile from $17/sqft to almost $25/sqft. It may not seem like a big deal, but it's a bit hard to stomach.

Does anyone have any alternate suggestions? I will try and post a picture of our kitchen later once I figure out how to do that! Thanks!
