Bowbat, they did our bathroom cabinets, too. Those all came through just fine.

All kitchens have issues. It's how those issues are handled that make the difference. Sounds like they are on top of it. Perhaps your expectations should soften a bit. 3 weeks isn't big in the world of a kitchen redo. Really. Perfection is unachievable.

I've worked with Dura Supreme a bit and they were really responsive when I had an issue, too. I do some contract work and really it was the woman who hired me who had a problem. She basically didn't like the natural wood... but she had ordered natural wood sooo... Anyway, they were very nice to me, and i thought the product was beautiful. She ended up happy too after she talked to them.I wish I could remember the name of the great gal I spoke to at Dura Supreme... If I think of it I'll post again.

Just thought I'd throw my 2 cents out there about them... Really enjoyed my experience.

I know how unpleasant delays can be when you're ready to get back into the kitchen and start cooking, though. Hang in there!

Thanks for your reminders to be patient. In the construction of this home, this is really the only glitch we've encountered. And after building 2 others, I know that's almost miraculous.

It was that three of the side panels made it through quality control, that surprised us all. By the time we get the new ones, it will be 4-5 weeks from the initial shipment. We were ready for a delay to hit somewhere along the line; things happen. Unfortunately, the pieces needing replacement mean flooring, countertops, appliances, plumbing, lighting must all wait (which means certificate of occupancy must wait)

It will all work out. Just second-guessing the decision we made to not go with a local cabinet-maker. (and yes, things can happen with that, too.)
