| If you own one of them or have researched them, could you PLEASE tell me if the Prep (the shallow) part can overlap a dishwasher?
As far as I can tell, it shouldn't be a problem but I need to be sure. TIA! |

| I don't believe it will fit. (I could be wrong -- what made you conclude it would not be a problem?) A typical dishwasher calls for a minimum cabinet cutout height of 34". (See, for example, http://www.galaxytoolsupply.com/v/vspfiles/photos/TR4100-8.jpg .) The Ticor sink you want has a prep-sink depth of 3": A typical countertop is 1.5" thick. 34" + 3" + 1.5 = 38.5" , so it seems to me you cannot do this and keep a reasonable counter height. |

| Ooops, in the last message, the link I provided is correct (i.e., it takes you to the correct URL), but the title is wrong. I meant to type the following: A typical dishwasher calls for a minimum cabinet cutout height of 34". (See, for example, http://www.ajmadison.com/ajmadison/itemdocs/KUDE70FXSS_Dimension_Guide _EN.pdf .) |

| Oh, I see, thank you! I guess I was comparing only to Kohler's Stages which seems to have the Prep area only 1 & 13/16 inches (46 mm) high. If the counter height is 36", shouldn't it work? I couldn't copy the picture from their PDF but the linked page has a link to Dimensions and Measurements. |
Here is a link that might be useful: Stages

| wow I just looked up teh Ticor sink and raellized taht I can actually afford this one! The Kohler is so much more money! thanks for posting this |
|
| Well, the counter height maybe be 36", but you might be forgetting the thickness of the countertop (normally 1-1/4" to 1-1/2"). My dishwasher spec is 34" MINIMUM cabinet opening height. |
