LIght wood cabinets with what granite?

I have a white kitchen, but now I have the opportunity to renovate a co-op with my DD. We would like to use light wood for the cabinetry. Years ago, when I was doing my kitchen, Costa Esmeralda was a choice with light wood. But, what is happening today?
Also if we go with the light wood, what color for the hardwood floors? Another option would be dark cabinets with light floors. Again I would love help with what would go with what.
It was mention on GW to go with a floor two tone different than the cabinets. On Houzz I see floor and cabinets matching as well. What are your thoughts on what wood look good together?

(This is why I love my white kitchen and hardwood floor. It was a no brainer.)

Are you looking for a Scandinavian look? Slab beech doors go with light quartz or other man made counters

or more Shaker style?

I think it can go in different directions depending on the look you and DD want to create.
