Pot filler installation

Posted by aanj (My Page) on

Our house is 2 years old. We have no backsplash up yet. Basement unfinished.

I want to install a pot filler before we do the backsplash.
How hard would this be?
We would hire a plumber, but the one I talked to mentioned cutting drywall and remind the gas stove during their work?

Anyone have his done?

Well the water line needs to be brought to where you want the pot filler. If you want a wall mounted one, there will be some work behind the drywall. Depends n where your nearest water line is. Deck mounted is also an option.

I want it wall mounted.
I guess the drywall work is ok. Not sure about the PITA factor if a gas guy is needed to move the stove.
