Holy Moley, that's cool. It's too bad their Art Deco collection is so skimpy, because that's a great alternative if I end up with wood floors instead of Marmo.

They have a section where they describe the process and materials. Canvas is the base with multi layers of finish and padding underneath, I thingk. Beautiful stuff!

Marcolo: Maybe these people could make you a tabletop for your nook if you're still having a nook?

I'm wondering if they could make me a backsplash on something appropriate....

Sandra-I've made a couple of floorcloths for friends and it's not hard, just time consuming. I'm sure you could do it.

Thanks, gwgin, for a new project idea. Lots of ideas on GW, actually, but I really liked these. Maybe after I finish the cabinets for the top of the pantry shelves, which is current project.

I went back and looked more carefully at the website. Yep, I think I can do it. Not like these, of course, but just for fun.
A really wonderful site, rich in inspiration and detailed information.

After all these years I just found this post and contacted the company. Fingers crossed they can do it for a reasonable price.
