The sample I saw at the store was a 12 x 12 square . My trip there had me liking Cambria New Quay, Ceaserstone London Gray, The granite Bianco Antico and of course Blue Pearl which I do not think I can repeat in this kitchen because it does not get a ton of natural light . It is still out though totally waiting for floor to go down before I would make a choice.

Usually you can find the supplier info and go look at the slab in a large size, much like you would granite. I know we have our clients do that, especially for Cambria as they have lots of movement now a days. I would look into that. I'm not sure if a Home Depot or Lowes would provide that info, but a smaller kitchen dealer would be happy to share the info on that with you I'm sure. Good luck!

Blue Pearl is beautiful but much more on the blue side and not so much gray, and obviously it is much darker.

Bianco Antico is definitely similar and beautiful, at that point it would be a pros and cons of granite vs. quartz surface. Both are beautiful though!!

Thank you! I will start asking and calling on that :) The blue pearl I had was the GT I would say at least to me it always reminded me of a gray suit with silver and hints of blue when the light hit it just right. I was in love with it the moment I saw it had it eight years and never tired of it . Read my new post my trip to the fabricators place for more info on what I am up to :)

Each Blue Pearl slab is different too. How neat to see more gray in it! The fact that you're still in love with it is a GREAT sign! :)

Beautiful :) is it a consistent pattern all the way through ? Do you have more pics ?:)

RE: Cambria New Quay

Fairly consistent in the overall look but often I'll look at a section and think..gee,I never noticed that swirl or coloring before.
I'll try to upload some better pics from the ipad. Haven't done this yet...

Here's another with the island...

Oh you did it on dark island. Love the look on it with the dark wood too . My cabs will be more the color of your island. Nice to see it goes well .

There is a little bit of khaki coloring in the quartz too. You don't notice it at first. I knew I wanted a stained island so it seems to go well with both the white cabinets and the stain of the island and the floor.
