My husband and I just bought a house. The kitchen has white walls, white appliances, white back splash, white cabinets, and a beige colored laminent countertop. We want to add an island but are torn on which one to pick from the following:

It comes in off-white or dark brown. I think the dark brown would match the cabinets the most but I like the off-white more.

Which goes better? Off-white with white, or white with dark brown?
