Do any of you have a kitchen with some stained and some painted cabinets?

I am about halfway through my cabinet painting project and I'm very happy with the results so far. But, there will be one corner of the kitchen and an island that are built from scratch by the contractor. I'm starting to think it might be pretty to have those two elements in a different finish (maybe a dark stain to match the trim in my family room).

If you have a kitchen like this, could you please post a pic? I have seen some nice ones on houzz but it is so much more helpful to see a real kitchen rather than a designer's glamor shot kitchen.

Do you like the two different finishes? Or do you wish you had gone with a more consistent look?
