Quartz counter faucet hole plug?

I changed my faucet out on my kitchen sink about a year ago. I have a silestone cpari limestone counter. The sink is in the island in the middle of the kitchen. Right now I have it covered with metal cap. Needless to say it looks terrible considering it is on the far end of the sink.

Is it possible to plug the hole with a piece of silestone and epoxy? Has anyone done this? How about cost? I don't want a hot water tap and already have a soap dispenser. Thanks.

I don't think it looks terrible at all and think a patch would look much worse. Does the finish match the faucet and soap dispenser? It kind of looks black but I assume it's the angle. As long as it matches the rest of your fixtures right there, I think it looks perfectly fine.

The finish matches. I have heard of people doing plugs for granite and solid surface. I wouldn't think it would be so hard to do so for quartz.

Just a thought but why not make it functional with another soap dispenser? Use one for hand soap and one for dish soap.
