Hello. We completed a total reno on our kitchen last March and went with painted cabinets. I have noticed several places where the paint has started to peel a bit, mostly near joints or where the wood sticks out (shaker style). Is this normal? I am making a list of things for the contractor and want to know if I should ask for this to be addressed/

Peeling or just chipping? It shouldn't peel, but chipping can be expected if it gets smacked. There will probably be cracks in the paint where there are joints and that's normal, too.

But peeling? Actual peeling shouldn't happen.
