The soap dispenser I got to go behind my fireclay sink will not work as is. The bracing for the sink makes the metal, threaded part of the dispenser (the part that inserts into the hole in the granite and then you screw a bolt on to tighten)too short. Has anyone encountered this? What to do? Plumber wanted to chip away at the wood bracing and dh told him "No way!" The plumbing supply place is attempting to locate a coupler piece that may or may not fit.
