I have the same situation. I have white cabinets and my electrician just installed under cabinet Halogen puck lights. Because my cabinet/counter distance is further than the norm (21") you can see the lights, but I knew that was going to be the case before he did the job. Actually I had decided I wanted the trim before I thought to do the lighting. I don't have pix because it's not done yet, but I agree the trim makes such a nice look.

We have shaker style cabinets, so wanted something very simple. We have bullnose edge on our granite, so this goes very well. I'm showing a pic of the underside (which you can't see unless you lean your head under the cabinets), as I need to show off DH's handiwork. He enclosed the pucks with a veneered panel that matches our cabinets, and then I had him cut the trim itself to the bare minimum to allow maximum clearance on the counter.

Does anyone know where you can get these light rails from? I have old existing cabinets that I want to put it on. We have picked out moulding, but not sure how to attach to a bottom of the cabinets. Is light rails what I want, if so how do I get them without paying a fortune from a cabinet department?
