I think you will find that all SS sink manufacturers have similar instructions. Does anyone actually follow them? My sink is thankful for any type of cleaning it gets. Some people are very particular on how SS looks. I do take more care when cleaning my SS range hood.

Everyone I've read on here loves their Silgranit (since Silgranit 2 came out many years ago). I've only had mine for about a week, but I love it!

just started my demo last week. mentioned to my contractor that i was thinking of a large stainless steel sink and he said, "really!?? no you want to do a composite" so i am looking at the silgranit sinks and they are really nice looking. I use to have a white sink by kohler, not sure what it was and i liked it so probably will stick with white again...

I put in a new SS sink a year ago, and I clean it the same way I cleaned the 25-yr-old sink. I certainly don't feel like I have to baby it.

I don't baby my SS sink, and it's been doing fine. It's a Krauss 16 gauge.

I never wanted a composite sink because it wouldn't match my counters *exactly*. But it looked close enough to give the impression that I was trying to match and failed. For the price of them, I wouldn't want to have a "close enough" look to them.

Silgranit also recommends wiping their sinks after each use.
