Counters coming in a few hours!!

After a really really long time of absolutely no progress on the kitchen, we will have counters installed today..fingers crossed!! I can't wait to see how it looks inside the house. We are using almost every inch of the slab and will have no seams..or atleast that's what I have been told! I know it won't look as radiant as out in the yard but am hoping the beauty of all that movement will shine through!
Tomorrow, we should get the sink and DW connected. Then the big debate in the house, should we move all our stuff back(not just kitchen but DR and LR) or wait till GC comes back to do finish painting all over and backsplash install? The timeline on that is going to depend on when we get our backsplash tile. I am hoping one of the tiles that are readily in stock(two-three days) will work out over the special order (two week wait) ones.

They are here! And the sneak peak I got is absolutely gorgeous!! Love it! I was so worried that the colors will be too dark-it is not!
I didn't catch one issue at templating-window trim is encroaching on the counter on one side. My mistake-would have preferred the trim be trimmed down than the stone being notched. But, oh well. I can live with it.
Romy, pics coming soon! I can't stand to watch them now. Four guys breaking a sweat-getting a 116x50 piece into place. I am too nervous!!

It is Sienna Bordeaux. I think I am in love!! It's breathtaking and looks great with the cabinets and wall color. It looks a little bit more washed out in the pics but it is quite vibrant IRL.

More pics soon. Thanks for sharing my excitement. Now to get the next piece of puzzle. The backsplash...oh dear.

Beautiful!!! Really pretty with your wood color.

If you love it now you will not believe that once the kitchen is finished you can actually love it even more than you do now! Cleaning is even a joy.

Have had mine for 4 months and love wiping it down and finding new areas to obsess about and still smiling.

Enjoy and can't wait to see more progress.
