My very first thought was spiders!

With my luck, I'd break my neck falling down the spiral staircase when a nasty spider leaped out at me from the recesses of the wine cellar!

I think they look overwrought; I'm sure they will look as tasteful as "conversation pits" someday. However, I'D LOVE TO HAVE ONE!!! :-)

Interesting but I wouldn't want to be the one to stock it! Looks treacherous if you're a bit tipsy, looking for a refill.

Very cool but...when I go down normal stairs to fetch a bottle of wine all is good the first time. By the time I'm going down for the next one, wouldn't want to navigate circular stairs!

It doubles as your fall-out shelter. You sure would be happy waiting for the radiation to dissipate...better stock it well.
